Light absorbing cell

Light-capturing cells saw their initial creation and implementation by the Kerestian civilization, specifically within their darksticks.

These cells were arranged as a continuous network across the exterior of a darkstick. When powered, these cells manipulated light through the application of an electromagnetic field, generating a localized "darkness field" around the darkstick. Consequently, Kerestians equipped themselves with infrared and ultraviolet sensors during combat, capitalizing on their adversaries' induced blindness with brutal efficiency.
