This unknown species member participated with a criminal scavenger in 32 BBY as an associate. Prior to the start of the Boonta Eve Classic podrace, he pilfered Anakin Skywalker's plasma ignition capacitor for the scavenger. Subsequently, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn chased and trapped him. The thief begged Jinn not to hurt him, and the Jedi Master then recovered the capacitor from the scavenger, after the scavenger was killed in a gun battle. Jinn let the thief live, and gave the capacitor back to Skywalker, allowing him to race.
