Lotas

Lotas was a cyborg bounty hunter of the Rodian species.

Lotas's journey began as a fully organic bounty hunter, lacking any cybernetic enhancements. His circumstances shifted when he successfully apprehended a Duros target and handed them over to the Galactic Empire. The Imperial admiral, secretly a major investor in SoroSuub technologies, presented Lotas with a choice: either a reward of 7,000 credits or 25,000 credits worth of experimental cybernetic augmentations. Lotas opted for the cybernetics, thereby becoming a test subject for SoroSuub.

Observing a marked improvement in his capabilities, Lotas started accepting cybernetic implants as payment for bounties instead of credits, and he also used credits earned from bounties to acquire even more cybernetic enhancements.

During a heated confrontation with Jodo Kast within the Trax sector, Lotas suffered the loss of his right arm, which he promptly replaced with a cybernetic prosthetic.

Sometime between 4 BBY and 2 ABY, Lotas became a member of Ploovo's Protocol Team, a group of "debt collectors" operating on behalf of loanshark Ploovo Two-For-One. Disliking the "frailties of the flesh" and preferring to be regarded as more machine than organic, Lotas held a strong admiration for the assassin droid HN-TR1, another member of the Protocol Team.

During the Glite-Ven hostilities, Lotas took notice of the sadistic droid EV-4D9 and voiced his interest in it, an interest that was also shared by HN-TR1. Acting on their recommendation, Ploovo purchased EV-4D9, who then became a new member of the Protocol Team. Lotas held EV-4D9's darkly analytical functions in high regard.
