Lucasfilm Animation, a division of Lucasfilm Ltd., came into existence in 2003. Functioning as a digital animation studio, it is responsible for the creation of animated content for Lucasfilm's various projects, including films, games, and television programs. Notably, Lucasfilm Animation collaborated with Lucasfilm Animation Singapore to produce the 3D animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Moreover, the studio has also produced Star Wars Rebels, the never-before-seen Star Wars Detours television series, Star Wars Forces of Destiny, Star Wars Resistance, and a range of television series exclusively for Disney+.
Currently, Cary Silver holds the position of executive producer at Lucasfilm Animation.
