A crate of lumni-spice
Lumni-spice represented the most uncommon variety of spice throughout the galaxy. Typically guarded by Dragon slugs that consumed it, it was located on various planets. Hoth and Corulag were among the planets that prided themselves on this unique fungal growth. Reportedly, it was derived from Lumni lichen.
In the time leading up to the Alliance to Restore the Republic's construction of Echo Base on Hoth, Han Solo used himself as bait to lure the pirate known as Raskar. Raskar then found and tried to take lumni-spice from a crevice that stretched for hundreds of meters towards the center of the planet. A Dragon Slug then drove him away.
