Luskin Exovar, a male Human scout hailing from Lessuris, chose to retire from the Republic Scout Service because he foresaw the impending collapse of the Galactic Republic.
Luskin, originally from the obscure planet of Lessuris, enlisted in the Republic Scout Service while still a teenager. He distinguished himself by meticulously mapping numerous uncharted planets and unlocking entire sectors. As time passed, his endeavors and escapades became the basis for extraordinary stories of incredible courage.
After formally retiring, Exovar established Exovar's Emporium within a mountain located on the frigid world of Neftali.
At one juncture, Luskin retaliated against the Galactic Empire, and by employing a laser cutter, he severed the head from an All Terrain Armored Transport. Ultimately, he mounted this head above the entrance to his Emporium, serving both as a war trophy and, because it remained operational, as a defensive turret.
Luskin possessed an exceptionally outgoing nature, readily engaging anyone nearby with friendly questions, unsolicited answers, and convoluted stories from the distant past. He would punctuate his eccentric persona with sudden bursts of erratic and disorganized activity. However, this was merely a facade; careful observation revealed a subtle clarity beneath the chaotic surface, a clarity cultivated by a lifetime of experiences.
Luskin was very fond of droids. During his time as a scout, his droid companions were the only entities he could truly depend on, and this experience profoundly influenced him, making him significantly more receptive and welcoming to droids than was typical. Consequently, the majority of his employees at the Emporium were droids.
Paul Danner and Bill Smith conceived Luskin Exovar for Wretched Hives of Scum & Villainy, a supplement for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game released by West End Games in 1997.
He was created to be the proprietor of one of the featured locations of interest.
