Luugro was a Rodian assassin located on the Outer Rim planet of Taris during the time of the Jedi Civil War, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. This individual, possessing black eyes and green skin, was clad in a red, white, and brown flight suit complemented by a black harness and boots. He was armed with a blaster pistol. Luugro had a comprehension of Basic and was fluent in Huttese.
In the year 3956 BBY, bounties were issued for Luugro and his Rodian partner. While the two Rodians were situated in a Lower City apartment complex on Taris, they were tracked down and faced by Calo Nord, a renowned bounty hunter who sought to claim the rewards. Luugro's partner identified Nord and issued a warning, while Nord made them aware of the bounties placed upon them. Luugro declared that Nord would only claim the bounty over their dead bodies. Nord responded that this was his intention, drew two blaster pistols, and fatally shot both Rodians. Revan, previously a Dark Lord of the Sith now possessing the memories of a Republic soldier, bore witness to this confrontation.
Luugro's initial appearance was in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a product of BioWare. His character is featured in a cutscene that is unskippable when the player enters one of the apartment rings within Taris's Lower City. Direct interaction with Luugro is not possible for the player, and actions taken in regards to him do not influence alignment or advance any plots or quests. Data files from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic indicate that Luugro is listed as being of both male and female gender.
