These raids involved the pirates laying siege to smaller settlements and causing the deaths of numerous individuals, notably Alto Stratus' parents. The Jabiimi special forces played a crucial role in successfully repelling these pirates.
Following the pirate attacks, Alto Stratus held a lasting resentment that neither the Galactic Republic nor the Jedi Knights intervened on Jabiim to stop the danger. He used the Republic's history of indifference as a means to generate popular backing for their cause in the Clone Wars during the Battle of Jabiim.
