Majjvara

The Majjvara functioned as both the monarch and the originator of the Yvarema species, accomplishing this by laying eggs and thereby establishing the various social strata within Yvarema society. Upon reaching the conclusion of their natural life, each Majjvara would generate a successor to continue their role.

History

For a considerable duration of Yvarema's historical timeline, the Majjvara engaged in the biological process of egg-laying within the confines of a secure, protected cave. However, with the advancement and integration of sophisticated technology, the practice of egg-laying was discontinued. Instead, the Majjvara began the production of embryonic cells, which were subsequently nurtured and developed within specialized incubation chambers. This technological shift resulted in an extended lifespan for the Majjvara, increasing it to approximately four centuries.

The Yvarema demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the Majjvara, whose presence was indispensable for the proper functioning of their society. Conversely, the Majjvara depended on the Yvarema for their care and sustenance.

Biology

The Majjvara was a significantly large being, incapable of independent movement. Later iterations of the Majjvara were positioned on a throne that was integrated with the computers responsible for managing the incubation chambers utilized for the development of Yvarema fetuses. Consequently, the Majjvara relied on the Yvarema for nourishment, care, and protection from potential threats.

The collective hive-mind of the Yvarema was intrinsically linked to the Majjvara. The Majjvara served as the central nexus, granting access to the cumulative skills and knowledge possessed by each individual Yvarema.

The Majjvara circa 8 ABY

In the year 8 ABY, the crew of the FarStar made contact with the Majjvara during their mission to assist Gunthar in his return to his home. This particular Majjvara was nearing the end of her natural life cycle and formed an alliance with the New Republic after sharing the experiences encountered by Gunthar. Following the successful defense against the Qektoth Confederation by the FarStar crew during a battle, the Majjvara, influenced by Gunthar and Qesya Vth'naar, decided to create a novel class of Yvarema, known as the FarStar warriors. This decision had the consequence of shortening her lifespan, leading to her death shortly after the departure of the FarStar from the planet.
