Mandallia

Mandallia, a planet situated in the Outer Rim Territories' Mandalore system, served as the original homeworld of the Mandallian Giants. This race, known for their exceptional size and muscular builds, were trained from birth to be formidable warriors. Located adjacent to Mandalore, the Mandalorian's own home planet, Mandallia's relationship with Mandalore began after an unsuccessful invasion by the ancient Mandalorian Crusaders. The Mandallian Giants' impressive fighting skills during this conflict garnered the respect of the Mandalorians. Subsequently, during the early years of the Galactic Republic, Mandallia was incorporated into Mandalorian space following the Mandalorians' expansionist conquests. Many Mandallians were then deemed worthy to join the Mandalorians, fighting alongside the original Taung people.

Description

Within the Outer Rim Territories, Mandallia was a planet found in the Mandalore sector. As a member of the Mandalore system, it held the sixth orbit around the system's central star, named Mandalore, positioned between the orbits of Mandalore itself and Bonagal. This terrestrial world, accompanied by a single moon, was the origin point for the Mandallian Giants, a race distinguished by their massive size, muscular physique, and skin covered in either green or blue scales.

History

The Taung, upon rebranding themselves as Mandalorians and embarking on a campaign to seize control of the worlds surrounding their newly conquered homeworld of Mandalore, initially targeted neighboring Mandallia. However, the native Mandallian Giants, rigorously trained in various combat disciplines from a young age, possessed exceptional martial abilities. When the Mandalorian Crusaders launched their assault on Mandallia, they were decisively defeated by its inhabitants. The Mandallians' remarkable combat prowess earned them the respect of their would-be invaders, leading them to become among the first to fight alongside the original Taung race as fellow Mandalorians.
