Marc Silk

born: September 14, 1972

Marc Silk (whose birthdate is September 14, 1972) is a voice actor hailing from Britain. He lent his voice to the characters of Aks Moe and Tey How on the Vuutun Palaa within the film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.

The year 1999 marked the commencement of Silk's career as a voice actor, beginning with his work on the video game Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. Simultaneously, he provided the voice for Aks Moe (a role visually portrayed by Mark Coulier). Silk's vocal performance supported Lott Dod, the Senator representing the Trade Federation, in a commission to look into Queen Amidala's claims during the events of the Naboo Crisis.

Silk's recording session for The Phantom Menace took place at London's Abbey Road Studios. George Lucas himself provided direction, describing the appearance, emotions, and vocal characteristics of the characters.

In the years that followed, Silk broadened his video game portfolio, with roles in titles like MediEvil II, Hogs of War, Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance, Battalion Wars, Black & White and Dragon Quest VIII. It is common for him to portray multiple characters within a single project.

Beginning in 2005, Silk's talents have also been featured in television series, including Fifi and the Flowertots (where he was credited as Mark Silk), Legend of the Dragon, Bob the Builder, Roary the Racing Car and Danger Mouse.
