Marcopius, a Yeoman, served as one of Leia Organa Solo's Honor Guard under her capacity as Chief of State, and had previously graduated from the New Republic Fleet Academy. He managed to escape the Borealis in a small escape pod alongside the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 and jump to hyperspace, though he ultimately succumbed to the Death Seed plague, which he had not initially died from. Subsequently, his corpse was unceremoniously jettisoned from an airlock by Captain Bortrek of the Pure Sabacc.
