A prized and singular ring was presented as a gift to Queen Marilla by the king of the planet Gascon. She then passed this ring on to her paramour, who was the Prime Minister of Demigue. After the New Republic was established, the king of Gascon declared that a ball would be held in seven days. To keep her secret affair hidden, Marilla hired a team to recover the ring from Demigue before the time of the ball.
