Marl Semtin occupied the position of captain within the Imperial Starfleet. Not long after the Battle of Endor, he held command over the Victory-class Star Destroyer known as the Harrow. He was sent by Sate Pestage to retrieve the stockhouse located at Eidolon Base on Tatooine, with Pestage promising Semtin a portion of the armaments as compensation. This mission resulted in a confrontation with Rogue Squadron. During the assault on the base by the Rogues and their associates (attacked), Semtin attempted to kill Firith Olan, but Sixtus Quin intervened. Quin eliminated him as he was attempting to flee; the Imperial Agent had lost faith in his commanding officer after being abandoned during a mission to Ryloth.
