Masla was a female actress of the Human species, and she participated in the same theatrical troupe as Roons Sewell.
Masla became romantically involved with the individual who would later become a general within the Rebel Alliance. This relationship concluded abruptly when Imperials suddenly appeared on stage, alleging that the performers were advocating for a play considered subversive, inciting, and seditious. Sewell, however, remained steadfast in his determination to continue the performance. Stormtroopers then commenced firing upon the actors. Roons attempted to shield Masla, but his efforts were unsuccessful. Masla was fatally struck by a blaster bolt.
During combat, Sewell would shout her name each time he discharged his weapon at an Imperial.
