During the era of the Galactic Civil War, a tragic event unfolded: forces of mercenaries supported by the Galactic Empire committed a massacre against the Schenor people residing on a research station. Agents of the Alliance to Restore the Republic arrived in an effort to provide assistance, yet they were unable to rescue the colonists, except for one young Schenor named A'kazz. This lone survivor was then taken to the homeworld of the Schenor, Rhamsis Callo; there, his telepathic account of the atrocity persuaded his nest-guildmaster, B'karitz, to nullify the existing Schenor/Imperial treaty.
