The Maw colony came into existence after the original Maw Installation was obliterated in 11 ABY; it was founded by Natasi Daala, the one-time Admiral of the Imperial forces. The location of the colony was within the Maw, a grouping of black holes. This colony marks the birthplace of both Rhondi and Rolund Tremaine.
