A woman wed the Human male, Maximilian Veers, and together they parented a male child named Zevulon Veers. Their family became a symbol of Galactic Empire ideals, particularly due to Maximilian's service within the Imperial Army. She passed away during a holiday period just before the Battle of Yavin in the year 0 BBY.

A female entered into marriage with the Human male Maximilian Veers shortly after the Culroon III insurrection, placing it between 19 BBY and 9 BBY. They only produced one son, named Zevulon Veers, and their family became a representation of Imperial doctrine, as Veers was a proud major within the Imperial Army with a family that showed loyalty and contribution.
Sometime prior to the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, the family embarked on a vacation, during which Veers's wife died from a rare illness. This death greatly affected Maximilian's sense of invincibility, and as a response to the unexpected loss, Maximilian dedicated himself to his work and encouraged Zevulon to honor his mother's memory by enlisting in the Imperial Military. Zevulon experienced an unhappy childhood following this event, marked by his father's strict discipline and the absence of his mother's warmth.
Maximilian continued his ascent to the position of general, and following his triumph against the Rebel Alliance at the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY, he was prominently featured by Imperial propaganda as an example of a widower whose loyal son was destined to follow in his footsteps. Several weeks after the battle concluded, Zevulon abandoned his post and joined the Alliance.
The character of Maximilian Veers's wife was initially referenced in Dark Empire Sourcebook, a 1993 addition to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game authored by Michael Allen Horne.
