The Medepiest Uprising transpired sometime in the period between 19 BBY and around 0 ABY, with the Galactic Empire playing a role. During this uprising, Reginna Bel Typolla engaged in smuggling weapons before ultimately going back to her homeworld, Malthor. Typolla later mistakenly assumed that the Rebel Alliance was ignorant of her participation in the events.
This conflict, known as the Medepiest Uprising, occurred at a point in time falling between 19 BBY and approximately 0 ABY. It shared its designation with the Medepiest system situated in the Mid Rim's Lambda sector. The Galactic Empire was involved, alongside the gunrunner Reginna Bel Typolla. After a certain time spent weapons smuggling during the uprising, she made it back safely to Malthor, her homeworld located in the Mid Rim's Tandon sector.
Eventually, Typolla started providing information to the Rebel Alliance, under the false impression that they were unaware of her involvement in the Medepiest Uprising. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, General Airen Cracken of the Alliance made note of this in a datafile entry about Typolla, which detailed various Rebel operatives. Cracken also voiced his belief that the Empire was likewise unaware of Typolla's involvement in the uprising—which he described as an "ill-timed" event—though he couldn't be certain.
Ted Stark conceived the Medepiest Uprising, which debuted in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 West End Games sourcebook for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
