Mennar-Daye was a site that contained a Rebel Alliance base inside its network of caves. The 204th Imperial Fighter Wing of the Galactic Empire engaged in combat against the rebels during the Galactic Civil War, sometime before the Battle of Endor which took place in 4 ABY; this engagement is known as the Bombing of Mennar-Daye. For several days, Imperial bombers conducted sorties over the cave complex. Later, a New Republic presence was established there. The vessel Yissira Zyde journeyed to the commerce center of Mennar-Daye, where it was inspected by New Republic officials.
