The Merchant Quarter represented a district within the boundaries of Iziz, a city located on the planet of Onderon. It served as a hub where merchants engaged in trade with both the inhabitants of Iziz and visitors from other worlds.
The Merchant Quarter experienced civil unrest in the form of demonstrations and uprisings during the Blockade of Onderon. Subsequently, the Second Battle of Onderon inflicted substantial destruction upon this locale. The Jedi Exile, along with Mandalore Canderous Ordo, entered the conflict from space by deploying a Basilisk war droid directly into the Merchant Quarter.
