The Lambda-class T-4a shuttle known as Merte, a Hurrim vessel, was commandeered by a pair of individuals belonging to the Dunari's smuggling alliance. The Merte then sought refuge at Camen Spaceport, a public spaceport, where it encountered two Rebel RZ-1 A-wing interceptors originating from the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser named Liberty; one of these interceptors was piloted by Ace Azzameen. The Rebels protected their comrades from a Hurrim team in pursuit and successfully guided them back to the Liberty, having navigated around various ambushes.
