Mi was a princess of the Human species, and the offspring of Arturo, the King of Orocco. She was abducted in 2 ABY by a minor group of lawbreakers headed by Grintlok, who requested a payment for her safe return. But, concurrently, Palpatine, the Emperor, took command of Orocco, and Arturo's entire fortune vanished instantly. Grintlok then employed Han Solo to transport the princess to their hideout located on Raltac III; however, Solo freed the princess with the intention of bringing her back to her father. While on Cataalda, Mi and Leia Organa were briefly captured by a bounty hunter known as Dust. Subsequently, the criminals located Solo on Cataalda and were devising a plan to eliminate him in order to reach the princess, but then a criminal overlord by the name of Raze appeared at the location, along with Arturo himself. Mi pointed out her captors, and Raze assured Arturo that he would take care of them himself. Arturo then proposed to Solo that he marry Mi, but because Han was already involved with another princess, he declined the proposal.
