Raze presided over a vast network dealing in intelligence, encompassing multiple species.

Possessing intelligence that was remarkable even among his species, Raze could process information with incredible speed. His appearance was imposing, featuring a multi-segmented, centipede-like cybernetic body equipped with a pair of powerful blasters mounted on a scorpion-like tail. Notably, his skull and spine had an implant that made his brain visible, possibly related to his mental control over his cybernetic components.
Operating from the Per Lupelo system, Raze's organization depended on intercepted communications and a network of spies and information gatherers spread throughout the galaxy. His key lieutenants included Wyl Tarson, Drybal who was a Zabrak, and a Ubese individual.
When Raze tried to commandeer an Imperial cargo convoy, the Rebellion preempted him, acting on intelligence provided by the double agent Tarson. Later, Raze discovered Tarson attempting to intercept a message intended for Luke Skywalker from [Janek Sunber](/article/janek_sunber]. As punishment, Raze implanted a bomb and comm device in Tarson's skull and dispatched him on a mission to Ahakista.
Tarson then assembled a team to carry out the mission: stealing data from the Imperial database. While in orbit above Ahakista, fighters intercepted Tarson's ship and demanded the access codes. Raze delayed providing the code to Tarson until the last moment to demonstrate his continued control.
Once planetside, Tarson became entangled in Imperial and rebel schemes, threatening to abandon the mission. When Raze activated the bomb in Tarson's head, Laynara, Tarson's lover, begged for his life. Abruptly, the connection was severed. Darth Vader had disabled the bomb to learn Tarson's knowledge of the situation. The mission concluded with the resistance destroying Pyramid One and the database it contained.
To save Laynara, Tarson betrayed both Raze and the Rebel Alliance by sharing his knowledge with Vader. As retribution for the earlier cargo ship loss, the Imperials then proceeded to bombard Raze's base on Per Lupelo. However, Raze managed to escape before the bombardment began.
Despite the loss of his base of operations, Raze still commanded respect and wielded significant resources. When King Arturo, a friend, requested assistance in rescuing his kidnapped daughter, Mi, Raze personally ensured that bounty hunters were sent to retrieve the lost Princess.
Raze, a greedy individual, managed an extensive criminal enterprise on Per Lupelo. He prized loyalty from his associates, even to the point of assigning them suicide missions as punishment for betrayal. Conversely, he was also quick to reward loyalty with special favors, as demonstrated by his help in rescuing Princess Mi.
