Michael Levett

Michael Levett held the position of Vice President of Ancillary Activities at Lucasfilm during the 1980s. His responsibilities in this position included the oversight of numerous licensing and merchandising ventures for Lucasfilm, notably the Star Wars toy lines of that period. Furthermore, he managed Lucasfilm's collaborative efforts in the creation of The Empire Strikes Back radio drama. While Carol Titelman previously served in a similar capacity on the initial Star Wars radio drama and received credit as an executive producer, Levett's contributions went without formal acknowledgement. Despite this, he did receive credit as a voice actor, making a cameo appearance by providing two announcements over the P.A. system aboard the medical frigate Redemption at the conclusion of the final episode, "The Clash of Lightsabers."

During the latter part of the 1980s, Levett shifted his focus to initiatives aimed at extending American business operations into the evolving Soviet Union. Subsequently, he dedicated his career to working with the United States government, the Center for Strategic and International Studies think tank, as well as various other organizations and companies focused on international investment, economic advancement, and corporate citizenship. He passed away in 2020.
