Carol Titelman, also known by her married name Wikarska, lived from (1946 - December 7, 2019) and was a vital staff member in the early years of Lucasfilm. She joined the company several months prior to the release of the first movie, Star Wars, functioning as the secretary to Charles Lippincott during their romantic relationship. By the late 1970s, she rose to manage three distinct departments: Art, Publishing, and Creative Services. Notably, she contributed to the development of books centered on art. Furthermore, she oversaw the initial concept and the eventual production of the first Star Wars radio drama, receiving credit as its executive producer. In her role as executive producer, Titelman hired Brian Daley to write the script and supervised the faithful adaptation of the film for radio broadcast. Titelman's departure from Lucasfilm occurred when the company relocated its offices to Northern California.
