Michel Parbot, a French journalist and cameraman, lived from 1937 to August 3, 2008. He directed the television documentary The Making of "The Empire Strikes Back" in 1980, and he's also credited as a cameraman for SPFX: The Empire Strikes Back. Additionally, he directed and filmed a documentary segment about The Empire Strikes Back for the French TV program Temps X. It's worth noting that all of these documentaries share some of the same footage.
Parbot is particularly well-known as the sole journalist who was able to document and film the 1983 Invasion of Grenada.
