During the time of the Galactic Civil War, in the Mid Rim, revolutionaries collaborated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic in opposition to the Galactic Empire. As the Alliance retreated from taken planets during the Mid Rim Retreat, some revolutionaries were evacuated with Alliance troops, while a significant number stayed behind to continue their opposition against Imperial forces.
