The Ministry of State functioned as a department within the New Republic, with its core function being the management of foreign policy and international relations. Overseen by the Minister of State, it also operated as the internal affairs component of the General Ministry, handling the administrative and bureaucratic demands of the New Republic government.
Beyond its internal focus, the Ministry of State was also tasked with a limited number of external responsibilities.
