During the year 0 ABY, the Imperial assassin known as X-7 adopted a false identity, posing as a Malano III warrior, with the intention of earning the confidence of Princess Leia Organa. X-7 fabricated a tale regarding the Empire's annihilation of Mirabel, claiming they used thermal detonators in response to the local inhabitants' resistance to the Empire's occupation.
