Preystalker: Mission 5 represents the fifth combat scenario using starfighters, crafted for the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game. It was released as a rules expansion within the Slave I Expansion Pack.

Narrative Synopsis

The taverns on Tatooine are deserted due to the latest HoloNet broadcast: a substantial reward is offered for the capture of the Rebel forces' commander, who are desperately trying to escape. The galaxy's rogues and criminals are racing to collect the reward. However, the most skilled bounty hunters have already engaged the Rebel squadron, which is now confronting its persistent pursuers.

Mission Configuration

Rebel Forces: 150 points for the Squad.

When constructing the Rebel squad, the player must designate one of their ships as having a BOUNTY. The point value of this specific ship is multiplied by two. Irrespective of the quantity of Elite Upgrade symbols on its upgrade card slots, this ship is considered to possess two Elite Upgrade symbols. Decrease the total point value of all Upgrade cards attached to the ship by 10 points (but not below 0).

Imperial Forces: 90 points for the Squad.

The Rebel player will position their ships anywhere within the game space, ensuring they are not within Range 1-3 of either the Rebel or Imperial boundaries of the play area. Each Rebel ship must be oriented directly towards the Rebel side of the play area. Every ship positioned by the Rebel player starts with one stress token.

Following this, the Rebel player inserts the bounty token into the tower of the Rebel Ship's base that he chose during squad building.

Subsequently, the Imperial player positions their ships within Range 1-3 of the Imperial boundary of the play area.

Mission Goals

The Rebels secure victory by eliminating all Imperial ships. The Empire wins if it successfully destroys the ship carrying the bounty.
