Mission 6: Undeniable Assets



Mission 6: Undeniable Assets, a starfighter combat scenario, is the sixth one designed for the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game. It was released as a rules addition inside the Lambda-class Shuttle Expansion Pack.

Storyline Synopsis

Hoping to reveal the Alliance's network, Imperial Intelligence sent a group of covert operatives onto a convoy working for Xizor Transport Systems. Rebel supporters inside the convoy learned of the scheme and sabotaged the convoy before it could return to Imperial-controlled space. The Imperial forces are tasked with protecting the agents as they make their escape; any agents who have to escape without protection will almost certainly be captured by the Rebels.

Setting Up the Mission

Rebel: A squadron worth 100 points

Imperial: A squadron worth 120 points

The Rebel player first puts a disabled ship marker in the playing area. Following this, they place two more disabled ship markers in the playing area, each at Range 3 from the first disabled ship and ensuring they are not within Range 1 of each other. Disabled ships cannot be positioned within Range 1 of any edge of the playing area. Subsequently, they distribute four passengers (represented by tracking tokens) onto each disabled ship.

Next, the Rebel player positions their ships anywhere within Range 1-2 of either the upper-left and/or lower-right corners of the playing area.

Following that, the Imperial player positions their ships anywhere within Range 1-3 of the lower-left corner of the playing area and/or within Range 1 of the upper-right corner of the playing area.

Goals of the Mission

Rebels achieve victory by either capturing a total of six passengers or by destroying all Imperial ships (excluding disabled ships).

The Empire is victorious if they manage to secure five passengers.
