During the time of the Clone Wars, Padmé Amidala, a Senator, embarked on a quest to Clabron. This occurred because Grand Minister Stin had requested her presence to form an alliance with the Galactic Republic. The Confederacy of Independent Systems, discovering this planned rendezvous, dispatched the assassin Lis Mohles with the intention to kill Stin. Although Mohles managed to mortally wound Stin, she was unsuccessful in her attempt to eliminate Amidala, who instead apprehended her. Tarmin, the Second Minister who succeeded Stin, declined to commit the Clabronians to the conflict, but did consent to offering support to the Republic.
