During the Galactic Empire's imperial reign, Hera Syndulla embarked on a crucial endeavor to the Fekunda Outpost.
In the Early rebellion against the Galactic Empire, Captain Hera Syndulla of the Spectres received communication from Burl, an employee at the Fekunda Outpost. Subsequently, they arranged a clandestine meeting to explore the possibility of utilizing the outpost for the rebels' supply network, rather than the Empire's. Over the course of two weeks, Commander Zhou, along with his officers and a squad of stormtroopers, subjected Burl and his colleagues to deadly death conditions.
Upon Syndulla's arrival, the Ghost was ambushed by a squadron of TIE fighters. Syndulla and Chopper successfully eliminated the TIEs by navigating through a narrow canyon. Syndulla and Chopper then proceeded to land the Ghost in close proximity to the outpost. Syndulla observed Zhou's lieutenant exploiting Burl and the other workers. Subsequently, Syndulla covertly disabled the conveyor belt, prompting the Imperial forces to evacuate. Syndulla then convened with Burl and his fellow workers.
During this time, Zhou managed to secure only two complete shipments, a stark contrast to the expected fifteen. He was acutely aware that both his father and the Empire would mandate the abandonment of the outpost if it could be demonstrated that its operation was detrimental to the Empire's ration reserves. While Burl advocated for a unified uprising against the Empire, Syndulla proposed a strategy of feigned incompetence, anticipating that the Empire would withdraw due to the perceived inefficiency. Burl informed the lieutenant that the Nogull were consuming the Phareen, estimating that harvesting would require three days.
She further recommended that Lemnos deliberately damage the conveyor system and the generator, with the intention of portraying the outpost as more problematic than beneficial. Au B'ree also provided false information, informing the Lieutenant that the Phareen had become spoiled and necessitated destruction.
