A quest undertaken by the Rebellion to Foundry, aiming to capture the Staraker, a recently developed assault ship manufactured by the Empire, led to a minor conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker tried to sneak into the starship production complex, while Mici Shabandar, R2-D2, and C-3PO were already present at Foundry.
Mici and the droids were exposed as spies while going through a security point, which quickly started a fight. With the Stormtroopers' attention diverted, Luke and Leia joined the fray. They were soon trapped at the launch bay, so they fled. The Staraker was boarded by everyone within the hangar. As Leia defended against the Stormtroopers, she was struck by a blaster bolt. Mici then carried her onto the ship. The assault squad escaped Foundry, blasting their way out of the hangar and jumping into hyperspace before the nearby fleet had time to respond.
While traveling through space, the team received a message from General Jan Dodonna. He told them that because they were near the Alashan system, they were requested to look into a number of strange disappearances on Alashan.
