Mission to Kril'Dor

The Mission to Kril'Dor unfolded in 14 ABY, subsequent to the discovery by the New Republic Intelligence Service of an Imperial Remnant tibanna gas platform situated on Kril'Dor, which necessitated its seizure. A daring strategy to secure the platform was conceived by Wedge Antilles, stipulating the involvement of merely a single Rogue Squadron pilot piloting an X-wing starfighter alongside a solitary Jedi to execute the ground-based objectives. The Jedi's assignment involved the strategic placement of targeting beacons at critical points across the platform; subsequently, the X-wing pilot would initiate an aerial bombardment of these designated areas. While Antilles himself assumed control of the X-wing, Luke Skywalker selected Jaden Korr for the beacon placement task.

The mission

Korr touched down his starfighter on the platform and then began positioning the beacons at the shield generator, hangar, barracks, communications array, power generator, and command center. He faced significant resistance from Imperial forces, encompassing stormtroopers, jumptroopers, and even a handful of Sith Cultists. Nevertheless, he accomplished the placement of all beacons, enabling Antilles to effectively dismantle the platform's entire defense network.

Realizing that their defenses had been neutralized, the Imperials opted to sabotage the platform rather than allow its capture by the New Republic, and thus armed it with four timed explosive devices. Korr triumphed over the Imperials and successfully disarmed all the explosives before their detonation.

Aftermath

Following the combined efforts of Korr and Antilles, the New Republic dispatched forces to secure the platform. This operation guaranteed that the Imperial Remnant would be unable to resupply the Disciples of Ragnos for a considerable duration.
