This endeavor aimed to apprehend a Padawan who had defected from the Republic and allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. To capture the Padawan, the Republic sent the youthful Trachta accompanied by a group of clone troopers. Cornered, the Padawan stunned Trachta and the troopers by using the Force to hurl a thermal detonator; this resulted in the deaths of multiple Clone Troopers, and Trachta sustaining the loss of both arms. Following this incident, Trachta was transported back to Coruscant for medical attention, receiving cybernetic replacements for his arms and eyes, as well as repairs to his compromised breathing apparatus.
