Mission to Yibikkoror

The Mission to Yibikkoror unfolded in 33 BBY on the gas-giant planet known as Yibikkoror, situated within the Yinchorri system.

Background

After escaping the Yinchorri in the vastness of space, the Jedi team, led by Koon and Giett, experienced a crash-landing of their Consular-class space cruiser (a vessel utilized by the Jedi) onto a floating platform located within the gaseous planetoid. Almost immediately, they faced renewed attacks from additional Yinchorri forces.

The battle

Finding themselves "Caught between fire and a precision," Giett requested reinforcements from Adi Gallia's team, who had also successfully evaded a confrontation with the Yinchorri. Plo Koon, the Kel Dor Jedi Master, then proposed to his comrades that they should navigate the dense atmospheric conditions atop the floating platform. Their Yinchorri adversaries pursued them, resulting in one of them falling into the deep gaseous sea below, which presumably led to their demise.

Realizing that they could not depend on Gallia's timely arrival, the Jedi made an attempt to ascend to the platform's summit, which was supported by balloons. Upon reaching the top, they were ambushed by more Yinchorri equipped with flutter-packs; however, the Jedi successfully repelled them until Gallia's Consular-class space cruiser finally arrived.

However, the cruiser's size rendered it incapable of landing on the platform, which was now teeming with swarms of hostile Yinchorri. Consequently, the four Jedi commandeered a balloon in an effort to reach the cruiser. Upon reaching its docking rig, they were greeted by Eeth Koth, a Zabrak Jedi Master, who successfully brought K'Kruhk, Lilit, and Koon aboard.

However, before Micah could board, he was attacked by more Yinchorri using flutter-packs. Micah then seized a balloon and executed another jump as the cruiser descended, allowing him to come down the docking rig.

Aftermath

Having narrowly escaped, the Jedi journeyed to Yinchorr to offer their assistance to Jedi Masters Mace Windu, Saesee Tiin, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi.
