Mother Missira served as the guiding figure for the unofficial "irstat" of Tarasin students enrolled at the Almas Academy. In the early days of Tarasin students attending the academy, the tribal elders worried about their ability to adjust to life far from Cularin and their tribal communities. Mother Missira was selected to travel to Almas and unite the students into a cohesive group, aiming to make their integration into the broader galaxy smoother. This approach turned out to be quite effective.
Following the accidental destruction of the academy's chef droid, O2-C4, Mother Missira assumed the responsibility of being the academy's head chef. Even though a replacement droid was ordered, everyone enjoyed her cooking so much that they hoped it would never arrive.
Missira had a deep affection for children, and she cherished the opportunity to impart knowledge of their cultural traditions while they pursued their studies in the Jedi's practices of the Force. After her arrival at Almas, Missira cultivated a distinctive and unique sense of humor. She maintained a friendly relationship with E1-6RA, assisting the droid with its administrative tasks, despite finding E1's attempts at humor somewhat inadequate.
