Model 57
The Model 57 manufactured by Merr-Sonn shared visual similarities with the DL-44 heavy blaster pistol produced by BlasTech.
The Rebel Alliance acquired several of these blasters from a weapons merchant located on Ord Mantell. Luke Skywalker became the possessor of one such blaster, and he utilized it in conjunction with his lightsaber.
Behind the scenes
In Star Wars: Behind the Magic, Luke's Model 57 blaster from The Empire Strikes Back was incorrectly labeled as a Power 5 heavy blaster pistol.
