Mungo Baobab and C-3PO examine a molecular disruptor. Molecular disruptors were sizable, mirror-like machines capable of reducing the size of any object they touched. These contraptions were employed as intruder deterrents at the Fortress of Tawntoom by Governor Koong of Roon's Tawntoom territory. In 15 BBY, R2-D2 was subjected to the shrinking effect of one of these disruptors, although the alteration was not permanent.
