Mon Calamari Civil Authority

The Mon Calamari Civil Authority offered a reward for the capture of the Draag criminal Slaag Lado back in 32 BBY. This organization sought Lado because he supposedly orchestrated a massive seismic event that caused substantial environmental devastation within the Salinrerian Sea, leading to perpetual rainfall over the affected area. The Civil Authority's bounty notice for Lado pointed out the Draag's connections to another organization, the Calamasthon Defiance. Whether this group had any affiliation with the Mon Calamari species originating from the planet Dac remains a mystery.

Behind the scenes

The Mon Calamari Civil Authority is referenced in the bounty details for Slaag Lado, a character featured in the second level of the Star Wars: Bounty Hunter video game, which LucasArts launched in 2002. This information from Lado's profile is reiterated in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter: Prima's Official Strategy Guide, also released in 2002, as well as in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which came out in 2008.
