The perilous Mon Gazza Maze was a Podracing track of considerable danger situated on the Mid Rim planet of Mon Gazza. It was distinguished by possessing a greater quantity of impediments than any other racing venue in the galaxy. Replete with cul-de-sacs, the competition was a constant struggle, demanding that pilots prioritize navigating the track over competing against other racers. The competition commenced directly within a region of the track called Splinter Pass, characterized by an extended area of terrain adorned with numerous durasteel monuments. Following passage through a series of subterranean passages, the race transitioned into a derelict manufacturing zone where competitors navigated through a variety of conduits, frequently necessitating the selection of the correct one to proceed. A significant number of these conduits terminated in impasses, thereby requiring racers to maintain vigilance to avert demise within a pipe. This zone was designated as the Doom Pipes. Subsequently, the track skirted a restricted segment of the race known as Skeleton Straits and subsequently looped back to the initiation point subsequent to traversing the Dust Gaps. It garnered significant recognition as a prominent event on Mon Gazza, and during the year 22 BBY, the Toong pilot Ben Quadinaros secured his inaugural significant Podracing triumph on this particular course.
