The Morish, hailing from the Outer Rim planet Morishim, were a species characterized by their diminutive stature, dense fur, and boisterous vocalizations. A clandestine communications hub was built within a Morishim cave during the era of the Galactic Empire. Following the Empire's departure, a Morish individual known as the Old Recluse discovered the derelict communications system, exploiting its information streams to deceive others into thinking he possessed clairvoyant powers.
Although fully able to communicate in Basic, Morish who possessed this linguistic skill frequently feigned an inability to do so.
