The character Moxie Freemaker was initially referenced within the canon reference book Star Wars: Droidography, which was released in 2018. Her inaugural appearance occurred later that same year in "The Power at Jakku," a brief episode from the animated series LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars, which is considered non-canon.
