Muerdo was a secret agent working for the Utai who served the Hutt crime boss Vedo Anjiliac Atirue. In the year 138 ABY, Muerdo utilized a mouse droid in order to discover that Admiral Gar Stazi was located on the planet of Utapau. This information was then relayed by Muerdo to Atirue, who subsequently provided it to the One Sith, with the intention of baiting the Sith scientist Vul Isen into an ambush.
