The Muurian transport was a light freighter created by Muurian Interstellar.
This wedge-shaped freighter, measuring 30.5 meters in length, was engineered to rival CEC's YT-series. Both designs possessed similar velocities, which were considered rapid for a freighter and on par with a Lambda-class shuttle or a Delta-class DX-9 transport.
Despite possessing a less robust hull and weaker shields compared to a standard YT-1300 light freighter, it boasted a more substantial standard array of weaponry. This included two double laser cannon turrets, three laser cannons, and a pair of proton torpedo launchers.
Due to its offensive and defensive capabilities, the Muurian transport saw use as an assault vessel by entities such as the Rebel Alliance, the renegade Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin, and various pirate organizations.
