MyComyc

MyComyc No 1 MyComyc issue No 1. From 1986 to 1988, a comic anthology series comprising 16 issues, named MyComyc, was brought to the public by Editorial Gepsa, a Spanish publishing house. Within the pages of MyComyc, readers could find two-page stories drawing inspiration from well-known animated shows of that era, such as Inspector Gadget, David the Gnome, Tom and Jerry, and The Pink Panther. In addition, the first eight issues presented unique, concise comic stories centered around the animated TV shows Star Wars Droids and Ewoks.

Considering all comics that were made available before April 25, 2014, the Star Wars Legends continuity is the only place where these comics can be considered part of the official narrative. However, their specific placement within the Legends timeline remains unclear. The StarWars.com Blog series, entitled The Droids Re-Animated, utilized information sourced from the MyComyc series in both of its installments. The second installment provided explicit confirmation of the events depicted in Sabotaged Droid and Troublesome Outing.

Prior to the establishment of the canon continuity, Abel G. Peña expressed that the canonicity of the MyComyc franchise was uncertain, particularly when viewed in the context of The Clone Wars TV series and the then-anticipated Disney sequels.
