Biography

Myrsk at work, giving orders

During the year 3 BBY, Myrsk and his fellow officers intervened in a scuffle involving Jahan Cross, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and several disgruntled patrons of a local cantina. Upon attempting to apprehend Cross, the latter asserted diplomatic immunity. When Myrsk moved to arrest Solo and Chewbacca, Cross extended the claim of diplomatic immunity to them, arguing they were in his service. Sardonically, Myrsk inquired if he was permitted to arrest the cantina brawlers. Once assured they were criminals, he departed, grumbling about his irritation with Imperials.

Myrsk's presence was noted at the Stark Compound when Jahan Cross faced arrest for the murder of Dah'lis Stark. He informed Cross that his diplomatic immunity had been rescinded by Emesh Nar. After Cross overpowered two Espos and absconded, Myrsk attempted to shoot him down, but Elli Stark intervened.

Following Cross's escape from the Stark Compound, Myrsk investigated the crash site of Cross's speeder. Disbelieving Cross had perished in the crash, he sought to question Solo about Cross's whereabouts. He and Dimity interrogated Solo and Chewbacca aboard the Millennium Falcon, and when Solo responded with sarcasm, Myrsk struck the smuggler. Chewbacca reacted aggressively, requiring Solo to restrain him. Solo suggested Myrsk should apologize, which the Espo did. As he and Dimity left the freighter, Myrsk questioned Dimity's lack of support. Dimity replied that "it was above my pay grade."

Confident that Cross would eventually appear, Myrsk maintained surveillance over the landing bay where the Falcon was docked. During this stakeout, he received a comlink message informing him of Emesh Nar's assassination and the theft of the ambassador's private shuttle from the embassy. Myrsk commanded all units to intercept the stolen shuttle and prevent it from reaching space. When Cross, piloting the shuttle, attempted to bluff his way past the two interceptors by claiming the ambassador was aboard, Myrsk intervened, ordering the pilots to force the shuttle down. As the pursuit returned to Etti IV's surface, Myrsk followed in a repulsorlift vehicle. He instructed ground units to position themselves at all intersections along the chase route and authorized lethal force if necessary. After Cross crashed his ship into a mag-lev train, causing a major accident, Myrsk arrived to assess the damage. Despite his partner's assumption that Cross had died in the crash, Myrsk remained convinced he was still alive.
