During the year 3 BBY, Dimity assisted Sergeant Myrsk in dispersing a violent altercation. The brawl involved Jahan Cross, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and several disgruntled individuals from a local cantina. Subsequently, he transported the arrested parties in a JX40 Jailspeeder. He was also present during the arrest of Cross for the alleged murder of Dah'lis Stark.
Following Cross's crash of a speeder while escaping the Stark Compound, Dimity speculated that the explosion might have completely obliterated the Imperial agent's body. Myrsk, however, doubted this possibility. Consequently, Myrsk, accompanied by Dimity as backup, approached the Millennium Falcon to question Solo. When Myrsk physically assaulted Solo and faced Chewbacca's anger, Dimity remained a passive observer. After leaving the ship, Myrsk questioned Dimity's inaction, to which Dimity replied that it was "above my pay grade."
He accompanied Myrsk in surveilling the landing bay where the Falcon was docked, as Myrsk believed Cross would eventually appear there. Dimity suggested alternative escape routes for Cross, but Myrsk dismissed these ideas. Dimity's prediction proved accurate when a shuttle was reported stolen from the Imperial embassy. Dimity piloted the Espo Ground One airspeeder as Myrsk directed the operation to intercept the stolen shuttle's escape. After the shuttle's collision with a mag-lev train, resulting in significant destruction, Dimity and Myrsk inspected the wreckage. Observing the extensive damage, Dimity expressed his certainty that Myrsk would face severe consequences. Myrsk concurred, stating his intention to initially accept full responsibility before shifting the blame entirely onto Dimity.
